From a young age, Bethany Hiltebeitel knew that she wanted to be a pastry chef. Growing up in a small town in Vermont, she watched her mom manage a local bakery and together the two spent time baking at home throughout her childhood. While still in high school, Bethany began her formal education at the New England Culinary Institute (NECI). After graduating from high school, Bethany enrolled full time in the baking and pastry program at NECI and completed an internship at Sel de la Terre in Boston. After graduating from NECI in 2006 with an Associate’s degree, Bethany moved to Half Moon Bay in California to work full time as a pastry cook at the Ritz Carlton. After three years, Bethany moved to Miami to work at the Ritz Carlton, Key Biscayne, as a first pastry cook. Shortly thereafter, Bethany realized how much she missed the smaller, more personal environment of working in a restaurant and joined No. 9 Park in the pastry assistant position in May 2010. Further advancing her career and her status within the Gruppo, Bethany became the pastry chef of Menton in November 2011.
